This beautiful pendant, carved from  "Kawakawa"  pounamu, the combined koru and twist design, shows exceptional carving skill with a beautiful polish and finish.  

The Koru shape taken from the unfurling fronds of the New Zealand Punga, or tree fern, represents growth, strength, vitality and new life, mixed with the spiral design, formed in a single  twist, this design represents the timeless bond and strength, found through true friendship, partnership and committment, two lives becoming one.
Pendant measures approx. 60mm. long x 40mm wide(25mm.= x 1 inches.) .

Pendant is hung on an easily adjusted woven cord.
