Paua a shell fish species of abolone found in the coastal waters of New Zealand has always been prized because of the spectacular colours of it's shell.This has been attributed to the unique combination of water temperature and food supply(sea weed),especially in the southern coastal regions of New Zealand.

The shells after having been carefully cleaned and polished, reveal irridecent colours with each shell an individual in colours and designs.

The shells we offer you have been hand picked for their quality and colour, having a clear lacquer finish to protect the polished shell.
